You'll be fine with either 3:2 or 4:1, but I prefer the 4:1 offset myself

4:1 offset offers less bump steer but at the consequence of putting the bike back to its stock width

Yeah with +1 and 4:1 wheels the bike will probably be close to stock width.

OK... I'm confused! I have a 450 with stock arms and 3:2 ITP Baja's. By going to 3:2's it is wider than stock by about 2 inches I think. If he puts +1 arms on and runs 4:1 wheels would this not be about the same as what I have done only without the bump steer and added stress on the wheel bearings? How would it be the same as stock if mine is wider than stock with 3:2's???

3:2's are only slightly and i mean SLIGHTLY wider than stock not plus 2 more like plus .5 total if that

Stock wheels are 4:1.5 offset, so with 3:2 wheels you will be about 1 " wider, 4:1 wheels you will be 1 " narrower. So with +1 arms and 4:1 wheels, you will be the same width as stock arms and 3:2 wheels.

3:2 wheels do not increase bump steer. Bump steer is the change in toe through the suspsension travel, nothing to do with the wheel offset. 3:2 wheels do stick out farther from the spindles though, thus putting more leverage on the spindles , so when you hit something, you feel it through the bars more.
