so i would need to mod the carb & clutch to get any gains?

Everything pretty much works in harmony. So the clutch would have to be recalibrated,possible new carb depending on your application. At least rejetted. Air flow system would have to improve also if you wanted to take advantage of the porting. IMO

Unless your going with larger carb i dont see porintg doing much. It is as good at the most restrictive part is. Airfilter to exhaust.

The carb don't mean nothing..
It takes modified clutchs to work with a modified motor.
It's like trying to wear flip flops with nothing holding them on your feet...
