I am planing on putting the kicker on another quad.
none on the parts are painted they are "replated" zink not chrome, all the parts I had redone for my restoration where replated, the shop glass beads them, then pollishes them then dips them in acid then re zink plates them to a OE finish the best part is the zink is much better quality than the oe zink. I had some parts done in the clear zink that looks silver and some done in yellow zink. I have a whole bunch more replated parts I still need to list I am just short of time I will get to it (mostly nuts and bolts and hardware)

Just curious, how do you find a place that does zinc plating?

Do most chromers or metal finishers do zinc as well?

Yes it was a chrome shop that did the work, I dont know if other chromers do plating as well as chrome?
