I have an 07 outlaw 500 IRS and purchased a set of pro taper bars with their universal mount. The bolts for the mounts do not fit right. Anyone else have pro taper bars? If so what mount did you use?

couldn't tell you bud.

My strategy for bars is to buy a few of the super cheap ones (~$20) then in the event of a roll over if they can't be tweaked back into position then I swap them out. I found this strategy also helps with the bending and breaking of other parts since the bars are my intened weak point they take most of the punishment.

the UNIv. mounts dont match up to the bolt pattern, you would need to make or buy the right adapter for those bars, you might want to check out Trailtech.net and look at their mounts, just changed mine to FB setup and thier kit comes with the right mounting bracket to adapt!

my brother was able to make mine work. he said the mount was right but the bolts weren't so he just had some different bolts made.
