race hood question??

Is it possible to put a race hood on my 07 Honda 400ex and keep my headlight?

I had a 06 and what I did was put hood on then use zip ties to draw tight to hood with all 4 mounts worked good never had any problems and it looked like a 06+ 450r

But I do believe when I did this my low beams where high beams I believe
