I haven't had any headwork done by him but he did a carb for me and it was fantastic. I know a few people that have gotten porting done and they rave about it. I've talked to him a few times and he's very knowledgeable, especially with the 450R stuff.

i've never had anything done by him, but when I one day need motorwork done, he will have my head and such.

Very smart and friendly guy, definitely knows his stuff. i talked to him about a year ago to get some information on the crank update kits for the 04-05 450r's. He is very helpful. He does very good engine work too.

Chad has ported and updated my head several times. The man
is very talented. Also have a FCR 43.5mm carb from him. He will
get the most out of your head, and leave nothing on the table!

What are you guys referring to when you say "updating" your head?

Chads always testing new things to make more power and if u want you can send you head back in to get the latest and greatest.
Of if you change something in your build and need the head work to reflect it.

Chad did my head and carb and I love it. My bike hauls, I can come out of any turn at any RPM and it will go HARD.
I've seen the head work of a lot other shops and ridden a few and I've yet to be disappointed by Chads work.
He is no joke, he knows his stuff and is will always help you out even if it isn't related to the work he did for you.

One of the things I really like about his work is the way he shapes the valve guilds. Still full length for strength and not lopped off like I've seen in other heads but profiled to GTF out of the way of that air.
And the way my chamber looked I wanted to put the head in a glass case and put it on my desk. I've seen other heads where they just scratch a lil here and there and call it a day.

No doubt there are plenty of other shops that do quality work too, not bashing anyone, but DRG has my business.

i had him port my head to a relatively stock 450r. had him put in KB spring kit. ferrea intakes(stock size), plus 1mm kb valves. and he was even generous enought to me to cut my exhaust valves free of charge, and he through in some other odds and ends that really started to add up. Let me tell you though, that head made a heck of a difference! it really makes the quad run so much better. i ran a stock head with hc stage II wiht exhuast, intake, fcr carb, and a few other odds and ends. and then rebolted the drg head on and it was night and day! if i wasnt so damn broke i would send my motor to him and have him build me a huge bigbore/stroker. but i dont know if i have enough money to even keep racing for next season. :(
