Ok i just got my old bearings out of my carrier but in the process ruined the spacer. I called the parts store i used and they said it was $60, which is totally stupid for essentially a piece of pipe. So i was wondering if anyone had a used one that they were willing to part with. Just shoot me some prices on them cause anything is better than $60 for a 8" piece of pipe.

No don’t leave it out, it’s there for a reason. It keeps the bearings from being pushed in when you tighten up the lock nut on the axel. Make one out of a piece of steal pipe.

ok i wans't sure if it had to be a really specific size or not, but if you guys think that it'll be alright, i'll just put in a peice as close as i can get it.

It needs to be the same size. It is the spacer between the bearings. Do what slightlybent47 says

I don’t know if you can find a piece of pipe that is the same size. But I would think that if the length is the same and the diameter is close enough to keep the bearing from being pushed in that it would work. Other wise it’s time for a new one. I think that if you buy the bearing kit that it would come with a new one. The kit would have the bearings and seals and the spacer. If the old one is just scared up it will still work, mine was gouged up pretty good but it still works. After all it’s just a spacer that you can’t see.

ok does anyone know the length of the peice. The guy i had take my bearings out ended up throwing it away, it was so messed up because he ended up having to weld a piece to the bearing and use a slam hammer to get them out.

Sorry I don’t have the specs on it, that sucks that he threw it out. Maybe someone can help you or try to do a search for the part and maybe you can get the specs.
Call a Honda dealer and see if they can get the specs for you.

I have a lone star double roller that needs a home. It’s the carrier only and it needs bearings seals and spacer.

No prob, I may still use it myself. Good luck on the spacer, if I had one I could measure for you I would but I don’t.
