I have a 2008 Polaris Outlaw 90 and want to get some power out of this quad and I notice someone saying i could use a ct70 head, but my question is could i use a bigbore head from Ebay for the honda 70

also i talked to hetrick racing about a big bore and the told me the have a big bore cyl in which they bore me out to a 54mm with a sleeve and stock is 47mm at a price 0f $600 and they have a head for $400 which I think is the ct70 head but i wouldn't expect them to tell me that.
If you have any recommendations please pass on I'm trying to have my kid up and running for this spring.

There was a guy on here that said he was able to get his bored and used a honda 54mm piston with no sleeve. I haven't seen the inside of the cyl myself yet so I'm not sure. I'm going to try the honda big valve head the end of this summer when our series takes a break. I hear you can find the head $90-200. Not sure if you have to have a spacer or not to keep the valves from hitting. Same guy said you didn't.

I measured the cylinder and you could possibly get 53mm before you loose your skirt so that's why hetrick sleeves them, but my worry is that with the big bore head I might have issues with the timing chain.

I found a head on ebay but don't know how to post the link but this is the item# 170448868403
I have a stock head from an Honda 50 and I going to see if the cam is similar to the outlaws cam so hopefully I don't have any timing chain issue

Thats the one I'm going to try. Not sure if outlaw cam/gear is used or honda. I know the gears have diff. pattern.
