reverse hybrid.

any one ever considered doing like a reverse hybrid. i always thought it would be cool to have a 400ex motor in a 450r frame. would have the brakes suspension and looks of a R but the trail friendly more mild power band of the ex. i have a 450 and love it but miss doing the slow wheelie stunts and trail blazin ability of my old ex.

What exactly is gained by doing the 400ex in the 250r chassis? They use almost identical geometry do they not? Not trying to be a hater, just wondering.

i agree. but it could be an economic thing.. got a 250r roller and a 400ex motor cheap. also, based on the thread someone did. its alot of work.
