What do you guy's up-n-da north use for your cold weather air filter oil. I have been using PJ-1 which is thin coming out of the can but as you work it into filter it gets thick which stops dust and dirt. get it out of the shop and ride in the cold and the oil gets cold in filter and gets real firm restricting flow, making jetting richen up.
I just put some Moroso spray oil on another filter which is thinner oil and no problems.
I am never going to make fun of you Northeners again, you have to be tough to live with all that snow and cold:eek:

Yeah, cold weather plays havok on just about everything. Greased the thumb throttle up real good for the winter build and first ride out it stuck wide open. Not in the cable, but the thumb assembly. As far as the filter goes I would use the K&N paper element filter oil with an outerwear. Do not use to much and give adequate time to dry because it too can be sucked in a burned giving a rich condition.
