painting motor

hi there, i was thinking about painting my atc motor, is this ok, would it still allow the air cooled motor to cool? someone told me it would make the engine run hotter than without paint. any suggenstions?

hmm. i dont think it would. cuz the lt500 quadzilla has a blue engine... but then again it is liquid cooled.... ive seen a 300ex with a completely white engine.
unless the paint is like, insulation i dont think it would effect the cooling
