+1 Burgard Stem....

Chrome 1+ Burgard stem with burgard clamp. This stem has a slight bend in it at the very bottom as shown. Its about a 1/8 inch as shown it picture with a straight edge. Since this stem is smaller in diameter over stock, you will need to buy the upper frame bushing from burgard (20.00). I do have one but it was starting to get play in it. If you want it I can send it to, but I would buy a new one.. 100 shipped...

How did you bend it at the bottom like that?

I have no idea.. I did not know it was bent till i took it out to clean it up to sell...

is it a good bit smaller than stock diameter? If so i might take it, i think itll fit my 400ex since the 450r diameter is a little bigger than the 400ex

They're slightly longer. Being as it's already +1, it might feel more like a +2 on the 400. I run a stock 450r stem on my 400, that's how I know ;)

Burgards stems might be 400ex stem, and they just changed the upper mounts to make it work for 450r. I will mic the stem to get the diameter.

This stem measures a inch 1/8.. I do not know what a 400ex stem is.
