New to the forum just picked up my first quad took me a lifetime but finally have one:D It's an 05 400ex. Here are the pics hope you like it.


Already order full skid plates,heel guards, and gonna redo the wheels powdercoated black

looks good, grooved radials on the front? Same ones im running on mine i believe. Have fun with it and be safe

How are the groved radials??? Haven't rode it in the dirt yet but when I got the quad thought it was an interesting pattern

The yellow ex are my fav. The grooved radials work awsome in dirt but in mud you can't turn you will keep going straight. I use to run them on my 250R's for mx racing

agree 100% I havent rode on mine either (in the middle of a rebuild) but i have it set up for mx so its a good combo

Just picked up my first quad this week as well, wanded it forever, finally made it happen. 2007 400EX completly stock. Havent even had timeto make room in the garage for it yet. Cant wait for the weather to get warmer and go riding!

Funny I rode in the mud last week but those tires weren't on the guy I bought it from had other rims on it at the time and last week here was muddy when we went riding.
