any one have a .040 piston for a 1986 250r for sale by chance. it needs to be 67mm size. im goin to the next size bore on my cylinder and was wandering if anyone had one new or slightly used. thanks..

also since mine is a 86, can i only use a 86 piston for mine or would a 87-89 piston work too..

you are running an '86 chort rod crank right..... if so then nope. you'll need an 85-86atc or and 86trx piston

ya its a 86 short rod, and ok , what piston do you guys recommend. wiesco vs pro-x or is it just really a matter of preference.

I have a 67mm piston here 86TRX250r I have it marked at $70 but it looks like we are missing the wrist pin they are $16 so it would be $86 if you would like it
it is a 526mo6700 wiseco retail is $222.48

wiesco is fine. a pro-X is too but make sure the machinist bores for "that" piston.

ya it sounds pretty sweet, but i tried lookin it up but it just showed stuff for dirtbikes not fourwheelers? and ya my machinist told me what he was gonna bore it too and the tolerance for it and what size piston i was gonna need, so im just goin off him.

also will a cr 250 piston be the same for a trx250r piston. thats what he says it is . im not sayin i dont believe him just wanted to make positive it would. thanks..
