I got my 450r and took off my clutch cover and the oil reeks like burnt, almost like a BBQ chip. I dont think thats good. My motor is fine and doesn't knock or anything. Just was wondering if the clutches may be burnt up or something.

I would check your clutch plates and fibers.

How often are you changing the oil and when's the last time it was rebuilt? Could be gettin blow by from the rings.

they are 2 seperate compartments this clutch oil only won't have anything to do with the engine side.

Depends what kind of oil, most car oils you can't because they have friction modifiers that will make the clutch slip.
