Is reason you do not coat arms with the ball joints in them, due to the grease under the boots?? What if the boots were removed, along with the grease?? Just curious.. Thanks man

Yes, the grease can and will run out so thats an issue. The grease is under the and around the joint, you can not get it out even with the rubber dust boot removed. Ive used low temp powders for these with success but it was more trouble then it was worth so I dont do them anymore.

The nylon cushion in the ball joint itself has proven it can take the curing temps but with not being able to get fresh grease in them, they wear out almost immediatley. So there really isnt any point in doing them. Rattle can them and save for some aftermarket

The set that I have, I have holes drilled in the bottom with a zerk, so they can be completely emptied of grease, then greased up again.. Just was wondering.. can you do them that way?? At any rate no big deal if you can't
