you have to have a stock airbox. the cables are plently long enough and you just set it on the little hump that goes over the exhaust.

does anyone make a bracket to bolt into the airbox for a perch for the battery? seems like a feasable product.

I was thinking of trying to fit mine up front under the plastic because I have extra room from running a aftermarket hood.

That's true, forgot it was that much haha. I think Yoshimura stopped making them as well (could be wrong, but I remember reading this somewhere).

Your best bet would be looking on the "for sale" section on an LTR forum. One pops up every once and a while, people doing part-outs usually.

yosh did quit selling them to the public for a while because they where having problems with the return tab breaking. they have since re-released it with the problems being fix. you can get them from yosh or cernics. You HAVE to have a stock air-box to put it in the air-box and as far as i know nobody makes a bracket. Blingyltr450 you would have to make the cables and wires for the battery and fuses longer to put them under the front plastics if you found the room.

I just tried fitting my battery in my airbox(doing my final MX build up of my ltr for this season) and there is no way without modifying the airbox to fit the battery in it. there is just not enough room there.

I thought the same thing. And wouldn't you want to keep the battery low as possiable so the quad isn't top heavy. Where the battery is now is at q realy low center of gravity. But it does look realy cluttered with it there.
