Gearing 450R for motorcross

What gearing is everyone runnning for the 450R for motorcross??

I am running about 59hsp at the rear wheels~

Looks for good solid advice....

Ive always ran stock gearing. It just feels right. Ive tried different but i always go back to stock

I have stock right now but im going to go down a tooth or two in the rear, just to try it out

Stock, esp since your putting out plenty of power.
Unless your running a really tight SX track.

I was thinking of going a little taller then stock since I go through the gears so fast.

Stock gearing for the 04 05 450r is 14 38
For the 06 and up it's 13 38
Last year i ran 13 48 on my 04 450r with just a pipe and i did great with that ratio....now that i have a lot of work done to it i'm going back to stock.

I'm runnig stock with 18' rear tires. i might go down a few teeth in the rear bc i run out of gears. (04-05)

i found that when i rode my dad 450r (07 and he had 18 in the back with stock gearing) i was in too high of a gear for everything and way higher RPMs. i ran stock gearing and 20 tires with my 07 450r and was taking some corners in 2nd and with his i would be in 4th going to same speed. i just switched to 18 and put a 14 tooth in the front
