Would somebody car to tell me how them come apart??? I am sure they do, but don't want to go breaking them in the process of getting them apart.. Yes I realize they are filled with nitrogen, need to be bled prior to being taking apart.. If you could shed some light to me this would be great.. I am kinda in a delema, well not really but a lil LOL Thanks

What are you trying to accomplish by taking it apart?

You're opening up a can of worms, in my opinion. You get into compressed length vs. free length. Normally, you can't just put in a shorter shaft without having issues with bottoming too quick, because the less shaft travel that you now have. This has to be corrected with a shorter shock body.

Are you wanting to shorten just to get a lower ride height? What kind of riding do you do?

Should be pretty simple to shorten them. All you need is to put a spacer on them internally.

Ok another ??? Are these shocks a mix of oil and gas, or all gas??? Thanks...

Got them apart, simple deal... Going to add the spacer in once I get them machined... Only reason for doing this is I have the shocks, by doing this it isn't going to mess them up, losing 3/4 to 1 inch of travel is not going to make or break me for the riding I do.. :)
