2001 Rear axle bearings

If anyone has a picture or can take a picture of the way the rear axle is suppose to look normally it will help me drastically. I have a 2001 trx 400 ex and i recently replaced the bearing carrier but im not sure if the axle is going all the way into the carrier the way it should there is about an inch gap between the chain sprocket and where is goes into the carrier. Help if you can...

The easiest way to tell would be to look at the sprockets. If they line up, your good to go.

if you post up a picture of it i should be able to tell you almost immediately if its good or not

did u get it on all the way?? i just replaced my carrier and **** and didnt know y it wasnt goin on all the way, there was like 1/4in between left to go and then my buddy seen that the bearing actually fused to the axle so we just clean it up and got it free slipped it off and the carrier went right on
