was wondering if you guys can tell me the good or bad of jumping up to a 45mm crank in my boys bike trying to get a lil faster

bike 06 drr 90
mods, dc long travel front and rear, elkas front rear,dr pully hit clutch with green springs, 1500 spring, 4.75 rollers, ported and pollished, he does desert racing,and gp style tracks so cc limit doesnt matter

I am by NO means an engine guy but....... I know of people dropping in the larger crank to get as close to 90cc's and it slowing things down. It will throw off your port timing if you use the same cylinder. If cc's are not a factor - there are some people on here that have some bad a** 110cc engines. PM me and I'll give you some names of the best engine builders in the business.
