400ex carb swap

Is there any one on here who has swapped out the stock keihin on the 400ex to the 04-05 trx450r carb, can you answer a few questions for me. I have it all figured out but what do you do to keep the tank from hitting the top of the carb and what kind of valve or fitting do you use to get the original fuel shut off out of the way of the choke lever for the bigger 05 carb. This is my nephews bike and he has been searching on here as well (f-15 man)

mine doesnt hit the carb, it went right in.

what about the fuel valve

If you mean the vent? mine fit the way it was also, I just rerouted the tube forward and there were no kinks in it. Then I put the tube in the hole on the tank shield.
