!!!everyone look i need help with plastics!!!!

Ok this is what I'm doing I'm running a 400ex frame and sub frame and I'm running 250r fullbore plastics I got the back to line up right I'm running into problems with the gas tank if I line it up with the seat its really high and doesn't look right not sure if its the wrong seat for for the gas tank or what the front plastics line up right with the back its just the tank that doesn't look right so if anyone has info on how to fix this lmk need this done asap pics would be nice also smithracing93@hotmail.com

is it a 400 tank or a 250 tank?

is it an aftermarket frame or a mod frame?
if its not aftermarket, then the tank is going to sit in an odd position on the frame, thus throwing off the rest of the plastics

Its a mod frame is there anything I can do to make it look right

the best thing would be to change the mounting of the tank to alter how the tank sits because the front fenders are going to be situated in relation to where the tank is. if you move the tank, you move the front fenders.

he has my frame and it takes all stock 400ex stuff, nothing was change in the areas of the plastic and tank mounts and such.


I told ya 250r stuff doesnt fit right..... i already tried once.

I know u told me but I wanted to try something diff. Well if u know anyone with aftermarket white plastics for a 400ex I world trade lmk thanks

the fullbore 400ex fenders are great, if your trying to cure the "400 flap" (the flaping of the unsupported 400ex fenders) then take a closer look at my setup, i does take a good bit of work to get them to fit but man they are SOLID.

Not bad I like it now I need to know what seat to use what year plastics what brackets and what ever else I need to know did u have to cut the rear finders so they would line up with the 400ex plastics just lmk what it will take
