Tires???

I'm going to my aunts house for new years eve and I want to bring my quad.
But I need tires that will not tear up grass.
I was thinking getting some cheap tires and shaving them bald. what you think?
And what tires should I get and where should I get them???????

Unless there is some place else to ride, other then the lawn. I would save my money and leave the quad at home. I have tore around with my tt tires in the wet grass this summer, and unless you like getting dissy from doing donuts it kinda sucks.
If you have your mind set on doing it get some lawn mower tires.
