Are you a member on the other R site?

There is a guy - pumashine who made a bunch of metal parts. If that drawing is accurate and to scale, I'm sure he could make some for you. He's o.k with helping others out.

As far as LSR, I would just call and see.

Thanks!

I shall check that out!

The other site being the .net site ?

I've seen a posting from a guy on here that WORKS at LSR so maybe he can chime in & set me up with some brackets or let me know who to contact.

I have access to lazer cutting through work, if we get a big enough demand for parts the same thickness I can order a sheet and get them made up

Cheers

I've gotten a quote from the company I usually get my laser cutting with and they wanted big $$$.....I asked why so much and they said it was the material cost ???

They wanted $310 for the 1/8" plate of chromoly.....I guess they have to buy a 4'x8' sheet ???

I'm looking around for a supplier that can give me a 12" x 12" piece.

I found a piece here: http://www.bearsperformanceproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=83&products_id=959

for $48.

And yes...those are my shop drawings.....I work with AutoCAD so I like designing stuff up.... :D

Cool, Nice work, I work with cad alot too...

If I find someplace to get cromo around here (Ottawa Ont.) I could do a sheet for $50-100 bucks probably as we did a lot a parts for the 911 we were building and it didn't cost us much, A buddy we race with in Targa with has a shop that makes combine and john deere cabins lots a lazer cutting.

Heres a shot of the Cad for the Oil cooler scoop / bumper mounts for the 911 just a small chunk of the parts we made up for this car...

Sweet!

Was that INVENTOR that you're using to create that drawing ?

If you need Chromoly:

http://www.bearsperformanceproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=83&products_id=959

or

http://www.grassrootsaviation.ca/products.htm

Both in Ontario, CANADA

Definitely let me know if you can have them bent up!

I know a few other people interested in these brackets and could
really help us 250R owners out

Done on Solidworks, But I work on inventor too and unigraphics, pro e, bit of ideas, and katia once or twice, once you know one you know em all =P

Ill email that grass roots place since their price looks good and see if they can ship a sheet or something....

Wonder if anyone else needs anything? Ill have to look at my project R and see if I do might as well get a good list going...

Its too bad this didn't come up sooner as I drove through there last week always the case hehe

Wow! You've worked on a lot of platforms.

We had Pro-e but it couldn't do what we've customized Autocad to do.

I was up there this past weekend!!!! I have a cottage just down the road from them :(

Send me your e-mail & I can send you the file I created.....it needs the bend allowance to be added.....so if you import the file into Solidworks we'll be golden.

I need 16.....C41Xracer needs 4.....you need ????

Anyone else ????

Well I got some info from the other R site.....was told to look at the ChassisShop......contacted them and they sent me to Pro-Werks....so I'm waiting to hear back to see what their prices are like....IF they can do them.

I'll keep ya'll posted

***update***

I got an e-mail from Pro-Werks.....they'll do CUSTOM tabs no problem....BUT....they want a 200-250 piece minimum order.

So Unless I get into Chassis building and make 13 frames where I would need 16 for each......I guess they're off the list.

I got an E-mail from Bobby @ Lone Star and he said they'll sell me the A-Arm support brackets no problem......I sent a reply for pricing and am awaiting a response.

Till then.......:D
