Knee Braces??

So i have been throwing around the idea of getting knee braces for awhile, and i was looking at a few and they are pretty expensive (but cheaper then surgery). So what kind of brace would everybody recommend??

I'm pushing 42 with two shot knees and have been wearing 661 braces for the last two years and love them. Before I used them I could barley walk the following day after riding. Now I don't even feel like I rode. I wish I started using them when I was 20

I wear the asterisk cell. Once I got used to them I don't even notice I'm wearing them. They really seem to support. But I do recommend getting the ones with the little plastic piece over your knee cap!

I was looking at asterisk website and they have a brace called the Germ and its cheaper but it looks the same as the cell, should i stick with the cell or try the germ out?? any input is welcome!!

does the Germ only come in Youth size, that might be why it's cheaper.
