hey,
i'm replacing my front shocks on my 300ex, so i have my old ones and was thinking of putting then on my bear,...that thing rides like a tank man..
front shocks
the shock mounts on my yamaha big bear, are a little wider than that of my 300ex, i'll need to put in 2 washers..
the 300ex's shocks are about 1 or 2 inches longer than the ones on the bear,
the bears shocks are too stiff, and their at their softest setting,
they clank and make all kinds of noise too.
i'll prolly need to put the 300ex's shocks at their hardest setting,
they will make the bear sit a few inches higher.
are the 300ex's shock tough enugh to hold the bear on ruff trails,
weighs like 800lbs. or will they bottom....
i'm going to do it anyway, just to see...but whats your oppinions about it
(.....i hate working on the bear...300 you just pick it up set it over a cooler, and do it...bbear...jack it up with like 2000lbs floor jack,everything is crammed in there like a car engine....)
