well first off you can froget about the extnded swing arm because you got a 250ex which is shaft drive. shift down a gear and lean bacl some more to get more traction. maybe some 23" front tires to place more weight on the back tires for more ttraction and i am not sure if this make since but get 20 inch rear tire maybe some 20-11-9 blackwaters so you can get better traction and the smaller ttires will give you more tourqe

not trying to flame but just buy a 400 a big power differnce is there and experince on that particualr and watching other guys climbing it see the line they take theres alot more than just making a quad faster to do better it comes from what is sitting on the quad..............

lol I remember me trying to hill climb on my blaster usually it was so weak it would stall out right on the top of the hill. I dunno what to tell you besides some o****su tires and some hp mods like k&n filter and exhaust.

I'd say to try Gearing down on the front sprocket...That might help!

no speed demon you need power install a high compression piston good tires a cam and port and polish that will help her alot climb hills but the best bet to climb hills is a modded 250r or 400ex......................

YUP :p . These darn blasters have no torque.

I see people climb huge hills on all different quads and some guys on the bigger quads can't climb them.... If your looking for something cheep for the hill, practice riding is a better option ;) :p .

It depends what your weak spots on your quad is. Lack of torque, flipping backwards ect :huh ?

Well if thats the case then...... Get a new quad  . Its gonna take alot of money to get alot of power out of that thing so I think your better off looking for something new soon.

ya im lookin at 400s for the spring, but i still have to get another grand saved up by then....

BUT i dont have a job so the chances of me gettin the money to pay off a new 400, while im still payin on this one is pretty slim, so thats why im gonna see if i dont get a 400 then il mod up this one

Well I suggest that you start saving up some money. When you do mod your 250ex your gonna keep wanting more power and your most likley going to grow out of it soon.

Keep in mind that when you mod your 250 almost all the money you put into it won't matter when you go to sell it. When I had my blaster I just saved all the money that I needed for mods and put it towards a new quad. It took awhile but thanks to my dad he helped me out. Good luck.

well i may be in luck..... the 400s are on sale:D now there only 4999, so i have a grand saved and my dealer will take 2300 for my 250 so all me and my dad have to come up with is another 1800(due to registration and all that other stuff), and il have one

i hope i get one:rolleyes:

You can even find good used 400ex's that are all stock in the 3500 range. Just an option cuz the 400exs are the same all years and are very reliable.
