I have a JP racing swingarm on my 250r, and I am looking for a skidplate for it. I know JP is now lonestar, but I am not sure if the swingarm design has changed. I will post up photos later of the swingarm (once I can get the bolt out to separate it from the frame).

Lol, yep thats what I'm going to use. Just have to wait for the morning because I dont think my family will be happy listening to me hit the bolt with my sledge.

I want to see pictures of the JP. I think I have a JP swinger (thats what I was told when I got it) and would like to see if it is or if it is a LSR.

anyone know of what skidplates would fit this? Does anyone have measurements on stock skidplates for an 89?

3 7/8in by axle, 5in by frame, 12 7/8in in length. this is going from each center of the holes. this is off the crappy pics i took before i left the garage today though. could be a little off.

Awesome, it must use a stock skid plate. The measures I got were:

Width by axle: 3 7/8

Width for front (frame bolt end): 4 7/8

Length: 12 1/2

Thanks

you know what you could do which ive seen some ppl do that was pretty cool was get a sheet of like 1/4 or so plexiglass and put it up to your frame and draw the shape of it. and you could figure out what kind of clamp you needed or just cut two holes on the outside of the frame on where you want the clamp and just use a heavy *** zip tie. ive seen it, it looks pretty sweet.

I'm actually thinking of just running a sprocket and rotor guard for a 450r on mine. They look like they provide a little more ground clearance.
