shifter bolt size??

a while back i stripped out my shifter and modified it pretty heavily to make it work for a little while longer. I have finally given up and bought a new shifter so that i dont destroy the splines on the shaft. I do not have the bolt anymore that came off of the old shifter as i stripped it out and drilled it bigger over a year ago and put a bigger bolt in and clamped it with a washer. Does anyone know what i am looking for to replace the bolt that screws into the aluminum base of the shifter?

mine did the same thing.

since you drilled it out bigger your going to need to hunt down the size you drilled it out to.
