ok so i know a small bit about a motor. its timing thats got me worried. if i was 2 rip my motor 2 a million pieces and back 2gether again how would i get the timing correct again. i know the basics about the head, the cam and the piston.
can somebody explain how timing is set.thanks
There are typically timing marks on the crank(usually the flywheel) and there are marks on the cam sprocket(s). Get those aligned and all will be well. If you list a specific machine, I am sure someone can give you a more specific answer.
