Whats the best way to make quad quiet?

So I just bought a 2006 Honda 450ER but I live in a pretty busy neighborhood and was wondering how to make my quad more quiet, Would I buy a tip for the silencer or a whole new silencer? what would be the best way to make my quad more quiet? Thanks.

Buy a venom exhaust, it is well under the db rating for most state controlled riding areas. Its the exhaust I run and love the quite power. The guys name is John and very well known in the world of TRX 450r. Look him up you wont be disappointed.

Yeah that exhaust is pretty expensive.

What exhaust do u have on it now that you want to make quieter?

I think its just stock. but it has one of those tips on the end of it to give it more horsepower.

Nothing quieter than a stock exhaust with a stock tip. The Venom exhaust is quiet for aftermarket but way louder than stock and what you already have on there. I'm sure you could find some one to trade you their stock tip and baffle for your tip.

I'm guessing you mean the HRC exhaust insert?
If so replace that with the stock exhaust baffle and that will pretty much be the quietest exhaust u can get for these bikes.

No aftermarket exhaust is going to be anywhere near as quiet as stock with the baffle in it.

You should also check out Jardine Products. They've got RT99 and RT94 exhaust and they produce great power on Hondas. RT94 has a lil bit less power than RT99, but it's really quiet (94dbs). My 02 cents.
