new here and i have a couple question

i just bought a 2006 yzf450 wondering what i should be running for jets i have a dg exxcelorater pipe and the lid off my air box..... if i pin in in neutral from idle it bogs then pops like it got no lower end power or somethin... any help would be appreciated i am located in minnesota so its cold right now... but looking for some winter and summer jetting reccomendations thanks

Read, read, read. Fins someone close to your elevation & see what they're running. Try it & if it doesn't work for you, change it in very small increments. The main jet only applies when you're wide open. Otherwise, adjust the pilot. With regards to the bog, everyone has that (except for me, of course). I have a 2010 so you don't have that problem with the fuel injection. It bogs because the carb has a slight hesitation in keeping up with the throttle fuel output. Once you get moving, keep the throttle pressed above 1/8 inch & you'll be fine. These things weren't made to go slow!

P.S.-It's all about elevation (oxygen in the air), & temp.
