Do I need to re jet my 400ex to run a k&n power lid? The quad has a wb e series slip on, and a factory foam filter with stock lid installed. It currently has .155 jet in it now. I also have a pro com cdi not installed yet. Will I need to re jet for it also. Quad runs perfect with plenty of power. I just want a little more power without making it un reliable. That's why I bought a honda! Thanks guys!

throw them on at the same time. warm it up to good and warm. put a NEW spark plug in it and take it through all the gears. see if it does anything dif and when you get to fifth ride for a second pull in the clutch and hit the kill switch. stop and pull the plug real quick and see what color it is. white is lean black is rich. you want a caramel color. that's the only way i can think to know for sure. good luck there is a jetting instructions in the sticky at the top of the page.
