I currently just run the stock lights, and have never replaced the bulbs.

im thinking of upgrading to some Tusk Super White Bulbs.

has anyone used them? or is there a good alternative for that price (about 30$ shipped)

I actually came across that the other day when I was searching for an answer to my original question. It sounds like a pretty good adjustment, but I sounds like id need to study up on the electronics and wiring before I try something like that.

Oh... and while im thinking about wiring, has anyone tried running Electropod LED's for underglow? how exactly do you wire those up? can you make on off switches?

It did make a big difference and it was a lot of work. It is not what I'd call an easy job, though. Things can go from happy happy joy joy to fubar pretty easy on that one. I'm still running the stock bulbs and at some point I'd like to try the higher wattage bulbs and see if they are brighter than stock. I hear they are.

i like to use the high output stock ones from honda but they are like 10 bucks a piece so i may think about getting some different ones next time one burns out. the high output ones are 10W more a piece than the stock ones. i think they are 45 instead of 35 but i cant remember off hand. steve

I use the ones from Ricky Stator. They're available in 35/35 or 45/45. They brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs. Don't forget to aim your headlights to get the most benefit.
This are the bulbs. (http://www.rickystator.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_34&products_id=81)
