hrc VS hotcam & other ???'s

my buddy just bought an 07 (brand new 07 $4999)
After going riding with me one time,

he wants to copy me ( he does'nt like me out runnin him lol )and put the same pipe, hotcam2,K&N, cdi and re-jet, like i have, so i said great lets do it.... then he talked to the mechanic at the honda shop he told him that the hrc hit was the way to go.

SO how does a hrc cam match up with a hotcam stage 2 ?

aftermarket pipe VS hrc insert?

best cdi box ? I have srp and it doesnt seem like it did anything

I would go with a Baldwin cam.

Well, if he is on a budget, the HRC kit is the way to go.

Im not sure about the 07s but the HRC cam is good for top end in the 04 - 05s

kinda depends on the kind of riding he'll be doin(drag,mx,playin around). i have an 06 and went hrc kit, and helped a good bit out of the hole and coming out of turns. def made more power.i do mx and i like the hrc

Get the hrc kit. it comes with a header on the 06 and newer.

the 04/05 hrc cam is great. I have tried 3 different webb cams, all 3 hot cams, the baldwin and the sparks (stock dirt bike cams) and the 06 hrc is the worst.
