I spent a few days with a self made man. He is very very wealthy and had just written a book that he accepted no royalties from, I believe the monies were instead redirected to the ministry he belonged to.

The entire book basically laid out his story and the fact that on average, the vast majority of people only ever give 80 percent effort in almost everything they do. Those that just did 100% of their job or gave just 100% effort succeeded far more in life in virtually every aspect then those that were the status qou. Those that exceeded all expectations are the ones everyone wants to emulate or have the things we all long for (money, security, freedom happiness)

Using this entire thought process I redirected how I ran my life. I give an honest effort in everything I do so that if I fail in my eyes or others, I atleast know I did my best.

How people can fake their way through life is beyond me, but they do it every day. I dont look down on them, but know that one day they will find themselves looking in the mirror and wonder why they are no where in life:p To each their own I reckon:D
