Has anyone used those spacers that bolt on to the hub (INDIVIDUAL EXTENSIONS )and then your wheel bolts up to them ? Just wondering if they would be alright for woods riding and drag racing.

In the eton section there is a thread that is (sons viper 90) I believe. There are pics of his sons viper that just raced a indoor arenacross and he had them on with snowhogs and alum wheels. I have also been looking at them for my sons non race scrambler.

you can get them on ebay, but I am not sure what the thread size is. The size I see on ebay is 3/8 thread size.

Thanks for the info

What do you mean by puck style? Is that the normal spacer or the stud extensions?

I believe it's 10x1.25. Same as 400ex 450r etc.
There are a bunch on ebay under 24.00 shipped for 3"=2x1.5".

I have used the individual/lug style extenders on all my kids quads and they have worked great, got them off ebay from a guy named alton james. He has been very helpful with sizing for each quad... Trading the world is his seller name I believe.

We used the stud extenders on 3 quads for 1 year with no problems now I use the quad as a pit bike and still all ok and I am about 255lbs.

Questions for those of you that have used them!
Did you have 1.25 douglas rears or stock steel rear wheels?
If you did have 1.25 alum rears did daddy play without bending a wheel center?

Yes I played without problems. I even played last night on it.

Fine thread 3/8???

What quad are you putting these on? I recieved and installed the 10mmx1.25 on the rear of my sons 2001 polaris scrambler 90. You might double check your thread sizing. Some US polaris use std threads but the import mini's use metric. If so buy the ones marked for a 400ex/450r/etc.

You will have to watch the seating of spacers on these hubs. I had to put some washers,2 per lug, behind the lug extenders to get a good flat seat. On a normal hub it would of been fine but on our polaris they thread into the hub and the hex head would hit the raised area on the hub. My douglas wheels also did not fit this area well but that is no longer a issue with the spacers. I also see this as something you will have to deal with if you put the alum spacers on. Also I put lock nuts on the backside of the hub. It wouldn't need it but by threading these into the hub on the polaris it had 3/8 or so threads sticking out so it looks a lot cleaner with the nuts on the back.
One other thing I noticed is that the female threads on the ones I got do not go all the way to the end. They are in a good 1/4 I believe and I am going to use longer then stock bolts to be safe. This I feel is a must do.
