Just need some opinions, beings how I don't know much about mustangs. Im looking to get one, and a buddy of mine's dad has a 2003 for sale, is white with a peanut butter color convertible top. Car has 118k miles, and is an auto, v6, cherry bombs dual exhaust (on a v6?, whatever they like). Car is about 99% condition. Was painted not long ago (that cheap stuff they use at fact-o-bake). This car is really nice. He was selling for $5500, but said I could have it for $4500. Opinions? thanks, neil

$4500 seems high to me, but im a cheapskate
Kelly Blue Book lists it for over 6K retail in my area.(excellent condition of course)
KBB private party resale pricing:
Excellent: $4,285
Good $3,835
Fair $3,285
do you have emmisions testing in your area? if so, will it pass?
brakes and tires OK?
any engine lights on?

what about this, 2000 chevy ext cab 1500, white with 20" rims, good tires, 175k miles, v8, runs good, a/c needs to be charged, when they changed the heater core they never filled it up. I talked him down to $3500. thoughts?

in the trucks defense, the blue book value is around $4300. I won't be able to get anything too super for the price. If it has low miles, its a saturn, if its high miles, its a bmw. give or take lol
