JE is finally coming out with an 89mm piston. THey are also going to have the sleeves to match. They are going to come in 12:1 only and will be available in a few weeks.

Sweet, keep us updated. 89mm makes a 465 right?

Dont the IMS 440 kits contain JE 89m pistons? So is this the same kit but with a different sleeve? And will this sleeve be tapered lke the other 440 kits?

Yes the IMS kits came with JE pistons. But that was a special piston the JE makes for IMS and can't sell it to anyone else. They now have a piston that is being built to their own specs and with a 12:1 comp ratio, That they can sell to there dealers.

OK, thats cool. What about the sleeve made for it? Will it be tapered at the bottom like the others?

Just talked to JE the sleeve is a tapered sleeve but they have made some big changes to make it stronger.
