shocks question

So i got some long travel front elkas for my yfz. As of now i just have the stock shock on the rear. I guess my question is, is that weird? is it bad to do that?

ya your going to want to go long travel in the rear also will balance the bike better. But you can ride with the stock rear just wont handle as well

one of my good racing freinds runs elka long travel on the front but hasnt had the money to invest in the rear... he does good racing but your gonna want to upgrade to a new rear shock as soon as you get the chance
