just redid the top end on my brothers blaster, and he calls me up and says it's making a strange noise....i go over and check it out, and it sounds like a clanking noise coming from behind the clutch cover...crank bearings are tight(checked flywheel side), and the piston doesn't seem to be hitting the head...so what to look for? not going to have a chance to open it up till this weekend, just curious if there is something common with these things i should be looking at?
it does increase the speed of the noise with increased throttle....but it runs...the clutch also does not seem to be releasing fully when u shift into gear..it jumps forward, but then releases with the lever in...
