99-04 vs 05+ calipers, rotors etc

looking to replace calipers, rotors.

whats the difference between the 2 years?
will 05+ rotors/ calipers work with 99-04 spindles?

im no expert but most 400ex/300ex/250ex are universal so id say yea but ill ask my dealer and find out for ya

i noticed there are different part#'s between the years

If you're looking to upgrade, go with the 450r front brake setup.

do they just bolt on to the 99-04's or is a little fab required like with the shocks?

You need to get 06+ 450r spindles and they will bolt right up.Well worth the money.I still need to get the spindles to do mine.This weekend I'll be converting the rear brakes over to 450r's.I cant believe how big the R caliper is compaired to the EX one.
