Just wondering if anyone camps there in the winter time? I don't want to put water in the system already but if my wife stays at home we can get by with out it. Thanks Rodney

Thanks I am still up in the air about it. With the tolls and extra gas to pull it over but it nice to be at the track and have a safe warm spot for the quad. This will be Bryce's first race weekend or even on a track so we plan to be over there for Thursday pratice and have signed up for the Friday,Saturday and Sunday races. So with a room for 4 nights and food bring it maybe the best route to take. We are looking forward to this Weekend. He has been watchiong race videos on Youtube from there.

we see campers all the time there, but I'm not sure it is worth
it to take out in the salt - IMO. The hotel we stay at is 50 a night
and that includes a decent breakfast for everyone. You can bring
an enclosed trailer and lock it for the weekend and keep it at
the fairgrounds. We have someone to room with, so for 25 a night
its a no brainer for us. I still think for Thu,Fri,Sat nights around a 150
total your better off in a room. I just hate taking
the camper out in all that crap. The arena is not that cold, so
you won't be standing out in the "tundra" all weekend. It's
really not bad at all. There is a large covered overhang area
where you can park the quad and warm it up before each race,
so you are out of the weather pretty much. I think you'll have
lots of fun - we always have. Might be a little intimidating for
a little guy's first race, as there is not much room on the track
but that is indoor racing. Just make sure you congratulate him
no matter how he does and tell him what a great job he did!
When my son was 5, he did his first indoor race at NEMX and
was on the line for his first race and tears were streaming
down his face from under his goggles. I just smiled and told
him to do his best and that we'd have a hot chocolate when
he was done. Next moto, he wanted to get to the line
EARLY so he could get ready! That first one is always a
little scary for the young guys. Keep it positive and he will
have a ball. Look us up anytime - #6 in 90 class red/white DRR.

PS: Hotel is Econolodge in Kent, OH. No I don't get a referral :)
