Replacing rear sprocket on LT230E

Looking at tear down manual it says you have to remove rear axle to replace rear sprocket on a LT230E??
Looks like it will slide right off axle once bolts removed?
Anyone done this before??

i have one of these quads and i have'nt noticed anything wierd like that. you will have to take off the whell/tire assy. other than that, it should just unbolt from the sprockett hub and slide right off like any thing else.

bradley is right i have changed many sprockets on these bikes and the sprocket will just unbolt...
