i have a 04 yfz, been super busy with everything in life and finally am gonna break it out and do an arenacross race this weekend. its been sitting for atleast 5 months since its ran last. its ran at first but ran out of fuel so i drained the fuel out of the bowl thinking it had stale fuel. i drained the fuel out of the tank at this time. since ive done this the bowl hasnt filled back up with fuel and wont. if i spray fuel into the back of the carb it runs so i know its not getting fuel. im just not sure why it wont fill back up. its not the cockpit on the tank cuz i checked that. maybe the float is stuck? anyone have any input? thanks for reading

so if you take the end of the hose off the carb, fuel comes running out?

If I take the fuel hose off the carb fuel runs out the hose. But not the carb

It shounds to me like the problema I had when my quad sat too long. There is a part called a needle valve, part #23 in the carb diagram that gunked up. This controls the amount of fuel entering into the float. Most likey it need to be replaced. It's a cheap part. Hope this helps.
