Apex 50 high idle

Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. My son's 50 is idling really high all of the sudden. Can't figure out why. Any help would be appreciated

have you checked for any air leaks?

I did but could not find any

throttle cable get pulled on? I had mine come out up by the handlebars and it hung the idle up.

No, I checked that too.

got it, it was the throttle cable up by the bars, adjustment screw came loose, thanks
