400ex Elka Front Shocks - SOLD!!!
Shocks are valved for a 200-220 pound xc rider with stock length a-arms. They are about 20 months old and were just serviced in Aug 2009 with no rides on them besides around the yard.

Shock is valved for 180-200 mx rider with a stock length swinger. Shock was also serviced in Aug 2009 with no rides on it besides around the yard.

Why are the fronts valved for 200-220 but the rears are for 180-200?

The rear is just a revalved stock shock correct?

Because I bought the rear shock used. Yes it is stock shock that is revalved and resprung into zero preload.

Yes it is made for a 400ex stock stem. I'm selling it is because I had the intentions of putting it on my burgard stem not knowing the burgard cycle stems are different diameters.

It is in great shape minus the marks i put on the mounts from trying to mount the darn thing. It has just been siting on my shelf for a year.

I'm located in Akron Ohio. Its about 1 hour south of Cleveland.

I know it can't be hard to install but do you have instructions for it?

i dont have the directions. Its not to hard you attach one end to the steering stem and the other to the front frame rail. The hardest part is going through the steering rotation making sure the stabilizer isnt binding at any locations. Because that would be bad.
