Well I recently traded my 06 450ER for an 88 250R and cash. I used some of that cash to buy a 98 300EX for the wife. The guy I got the 300EX from had a really clean 00 400EX for sale as well and I am going to pick that up tonight. We are going to start riding as a family and the 250R isnt the best machine for putting around with the kids so I talked the wife into getting the 400EX. I will be setting it up for cross country racing. I raced the 450ER for the last 4 years and never liked it as well as I liked my 400EX. The 400EX may not be as fast, but what it lacks in straight line speed it makes up for in handling, reliability, low end tourque, and easy starting. I am excited to be back on a 400EX!!! I will try and post up some pics tonight.
