Im about to go see this in person, seller didnt list a price, so im going to go meet him and negotiate or try to ha, this is what he told me on the phone, engine runs mint, piston was rebuilt, tank powder coated red and other parts in black. That cost him 250 dollars...he is going to continue finishing the project and raise the price each time he gets more and more done. he said tires are "ok"... What number should i throw at him first? If he doesnt like it, what is this thing actually worth buying for. I always wanted a trike lol

The most i've ever seen one sell for was $1000. So I would take that and subtract what it needs. Plastics, Bearings, Brakes, Chain, etc. and see where you end up.

Personally IF I was interested in it, $400 is top for that bike.

Really, you should be looking for an 85-86 R. They can be had for just a few hundred more and are a much better bike.

its worth the 600. and will be a fun lil project to build. setup correctly they have a descent amount of power and are fun to ride. i'd compare its power to that of a nicely setup blaster engine.

btw i recently finished an 84 like that.
